Hold a Whats Down pair next to a typical printed boxer and the difference is obvious: ours look brighter. That’s not a filter. It’s how the print is made.
Screen printing
Ink is pushed through a mesh onto the surface of the fabric, one colour at a time. It’s cheap for simple designs, but colours are limited, fine detail is lost, and the ink sits on top. So it cracks, peels and fades in the wash.
Digital printing
The design is printed directly into the cotton, pixel by pixel, with unlimited colours. Gradients, tiny doodles, dozens of shades. All sharp. Because the dye bonds with the fibre, the print is soft to touch and survives the machine.

Monsoon: Humidity is the enemy in July. Woven cotton releases moisture fast and dries under a fan overnight; knitted cotton soaks it up and stays damp. Darker, busier prints are the monsoon’s friend. Splashes disappear into navy, maroon and multicolour.
