Whats Down is a contemporary innerwear and lifestyle apparel brand quietly transforming the traditional underwear market. Merging high-utility comfort with eye-catching, self-expressive style. We don't see undergarments as hidden necessities. They're fashion statements. Comfy, quirky, cool.
It started with a boring drawer.
Indian men's underwear came in white, black, grey and navy. Women's lounge shorts were an afterthought in thin polyester. We didn't think that was good enough. So we made one print, then another, then a rack.
The idea was simple: make boxers you'd actually want to be seen in. That meant a proper woven fabric instead of clingy jersey, an inner elastic that keeps you in place without a drawstring, one back pocket so you can step out the door, and prints that start conversations. Digitally printed, so the colours pop and stay sharp wash after wash.
Today there are 16 men's prints and a growing women's rack, printed face masks, and customers who wear them to the beach, the balcony and the breakfast table. Innerwear as a fashion statement. Not a hidden necessity.
