“Made in India” is on every Whats Down label, but it’s more specific than that: our boxers are stitched in our own workshop by people we know by name.
Why it matters
Quality you can see up close, fair work, and the freedom to make small batches of new prints instead of betting on 10,000 units of one design.
What we control
Fabric sourcing (100% cotton poplin), digital printing, cutting, stitching, the inner elastic, the pocket, the packaging.
Sustainable where we can
Organic cotton where it’s available, small runs, no over-production.
Envisioned, designed and made in India. See the result on the rack.
Good to know
Brand: Whats Down is a contemporary innerwear and lifestyle apparel brand with one idea: underwear isn’t a hidden necessity, it’s a fashion statement. Comfy, quirky, cool: bold prints out front, premium cotton underneath, inclusive sizing, and ethical making in India.
Pocket: One back pocket, men’s and women’s, on every print. It’s for the phone when you step onto the balcony, the keys when you run to the shop, the room key on holiday. The small reason people stop changing out of their boxers to leave the house.
Returns: Because these are innerwear, all sales are final. No returns, exchanges or refunds. That’s exactly why the size guide is on every page. If something arrives damaged or it isn’t what you ordered, email us within 48 hours with a photo and we’ll sort it out.
Monsoon: Humidity is the enemy in July. Woven cotton releases moisture fast and dries under a fan overnight; knitted cotton soaks it up and stays damp. Darker, busier prints are the monsoon’s friend. Splashes disappear into navy, maroon and multicolour.
Quick answers
What sizes do you make?
S to XL, with a waist chart in inches and centimetres on each product page. Go one up if you’re between sizes and mostly lounge.
Can women wear the men’s prints?
Yes. Size down one; the men’s cut has a lower rise and longer leg.
