So, can you wear boxers shorts in public? Let’s talk about it.
First of all, we want to say that this is a really personal decision. It’s not like we’re telling you what to do or saying you can’t wear them—we just want to get a sense of where YOU are in your head and how comfortable you feel with them. We know it’s different for everyone, because we’re all made differently, but here are some things we think might help:
There are only guidelines. And those guidelines are
“wear clean clothes” or as complex as “wear clothes that make you feel like yourself.” If you’re wearing something that doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t matter how clean it is or how well it fits—you won’t feel confident and comfortable wearing it anywhere but at home.
“make sure they’re comfortable” or they don’t run down easily, The elastic should be of good quality such that you don’t face any embarrassing moments in public.
“designs matter”, we live in the age where “JUICY” on the back of women’s pants are considered tacky, however, we have a bunch of sober designs that could easily pass off as shorts rather than boxers.
